What we do:

Be Kind SA was started by an Adventure company in Tsitsikamma, South Africa. With a heart for the local community and a desire to see Micro Entrepreneurs flourish through an intense mentoring, training and funding process.

Where it started:

It started in 2017 by helping local entrepreneurs in Transkei start and grow their own kayak guiding business on the Mdumbi river and Port st Johns River. It then moved over to the Tsitsikamma where we mentored 30 entrepreneurs.

How it is going in 2023:

We assisted 4 entrepreneurs to start 3 new micro businesses in Tsitsikamma. The fourth business will start in September.

Two of these entrepreneurs are currently funded through Be Kind SA to study UCT Business management certificate course that they should finish in July 2023.

Four of these entrepreneurs we are assisting is now mentors to others in the community and is actively involved in assisting and inspiring other up and coming entrepreneurs.

Where we are going:

• We are developing a yearlong entrepreneurial school for micro businesses.
• We are focussing on developing a guided tourism route into townships for international tourist to visit local unique products and interact with local entrepreneurs.  
• We mentor the current entrepreneurs on a weekly basis focussing on personal, spiritual, and business development process and committed to do this until we see that the entrepreneurs are sustainable and caught the heart of giving back.
