The idea behind sak.sak started in October 2023.  I attended a well-known lifestyle and interior show and nothing excited me.  The bags on offer were dull, boring and overpriced.  I saw the need for something a bit more modern, cheeky and truly South African.

I asked Johan for his insight into a new brand and as we popped a bottle of Kaapse Vonkel, the idea for sak.sak was born – A truly Afrikaans brand that was a reflection of the diversity and rich culture of South Africa.

sak.sak – geinspireer deur die diversiteit en uniekheid van ons land, Suid Afrika.

Van wingerde tot mielielande; strande tot berge; platteland tot stad; sak.sak is daar saam met jou, elke dag.  ons sakke is tuisgemaak in die hart van die Kaapse Wynland –  kreatiwiteit, tekstuur en duursaamheid die enigste maatstaf vir elke.sak.

Ons sak.sak is daar om jou moderne Suid Afrikaanse leefstyl saam met jou te stap, of dit nou ons sweet.sak, my.sak of ‘n ander.sak is.
