Naked Cherry

NakedCherry was founded in 2012 by a sassy cherry, called Karen. After a stint in the UK and working for highly reputable salons, came back with a new love for the industry; and more so waxing. With a passion for smooth, professional and hygienic (oh wait… we forgot cheeky) treatments; a gap in the market for a fun and fluff-free waxing service that used locally produced and self-tested products… so NakedCherry was born.

The company quickly gained a reputation for providing an exceptional waxing experience, thanks to its use of #proudlysouthafrican developed waxes; as well as its specialist skincare products which are made with no parabens, mineral oils, biocides and other yukkies with long names.  We choose to focus on the aroma oils and testing all our products only on humans.

In 2017, NakedCherry won the Professional Beauty Awards – Best Body Product/Wax Supplier.
And in 2018, they were crowned Speciality Salon of the Year.

Today, NakedCherry has grown from a stand alone boutique in Parkhurst, to a chain of franchised boutiques scattered around Johannesburg (come on Cape Town and Durban – we need a few fruit baskets that side), to supplying local stockists and recently flying over borders and finding distributors in Africa.

Our goal has always been, to make waxing memorable – for all the right reasons.
